Arizona-Mexico Commission
The Arizona-Mexico Commission (AMC), a premier cross-border organization since 1959, champions Arizona's relationship with Mexico and provides leadership that improves the region and delivers opportunities, services and initiatives for business and personal growth.
Chaired by the Governor of Arizona, the AMC is a public/private, results-oriented, membership-driven, non-profit organization that formulates programs and action items that impact the Arizona-Mexico relationship.
The AMC’s vision of improving quality of life in the region continues to drive all efforts, which include:
- Promoting a strong, cooperative relationship with Mexico
- Facilitating the movement of goods, services, people and information through Mexico and Latin America
- Encouraging security and sustainable development within our border communities
The AMC’s Tourism Committee is composed of individuals, institutions and companies, convention and visitors bureaus, related services (such as caterers), transportation providers, airlines, tourism infrastructure, tourism property development, travel agents and individuals involved in the buying, selling and supplying of services to the tourism industry.
